Darrel joined the cast of Solid Gold in 1987 as one of three male dancers hired for the "new format" Solid Gold '87. He remained on the show until its series finale at the end of the 1988 season.

Darrel was featured in two movies last year, New Line Cinema's "Boogie Nights" which starred Mark Wahlberg, and the Jack Lemmon/Walter Matthau comedy "Out to Sea" which also featured his Solid Gold co-worker Leslie Cook.

It's assumed that Darrel is still working in the industry since he's currently listed with a California talent agency. Specific projects are not known at this time.

Darrel grew up in West Virginia, where he was fourth in the family's group of eight children - seven boys and one girl!
