Before appearing on Solid Gold, Leslie studied a mostly classical (ballet) dance curriculum at the North Carolina School of the Arts. She also had a great deal of film work - including The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas and A Chorus Line - under her belt before joining the Solid Gold '87 cast in August 1986. She remained with the show through its final year, when it was known as Solid Gold: In Concert.

After SG, Leslie continued to appear in numerous films and television specials, including "My Blue Heaven," "The Beverly Hillbillies," and "Out to Sea." She added "choreographer" to her resume after working on the movies "Back to the Future Part III", "Death Becomes Her" and "Forest Gump"!

On a more personal note, Leslie stands 5'5" tall and weighs around 112 lbs. She enjoys bike riding, going to the mountains in Jeep, and running with her dogs. She has a sister who is 2 1/2 years older and also dances, but not commercially.
