"Staying
on the show for six years" is one of the things Pam is most proud
of, according to a 1985 TV Guide interview. She appeared on the show
for six consecutive years - from 1980 to 1986! "You have to hang in
there," she said in the interview. "It takes a lot of patience."
Aside
from her Solid Gold achievements, Pam has most recently found success
as a dance instructor and studio owner.
Pam
originally studied gymnastics, but she switched to dance classes
after breaking her arm at age 12!
As
a Las Vegas Sahara girl, Pam was one of only a handful of women
chosen out of the more than 500 who audtioned! She left Las Vegas
to join Solid Gold just days before the series began production.
