Although he didn't start studying dance until he was 18 years old, you'd never know it! Paul was one of the three male dancers hired as part of the Solid Gold '87 cast.

Being tall and muscular, Paul was a dream come true for most women. Yet the dance world saw him differently. "Being this large was a real handicap at first," he said during a 1987 SG interview. "People looked at me and said 'he's not going to be limber, he's not going to be able to move well'. So I really had to overcome that and work extra hard."

The hard work paid off. Not only did Paul remain on SG until its end in 1988, but he has also appeared on numerous award shows and in films such as Sister Act 2 and Death Becomes Her.

Residing in California, Paul comes from a very large family. "Every holiday, we celebrate together and it's great," he said.

Quote Note - " It was kind of a fluke. This girl talked me into taking an adagio class and the next thing I knew, I was taking jazz and tap and ballet." - Paul, on how he got started in the dance profession
