and created the Unofficial Solid Gold Dance Connection (SGDC) web site in 1998. The two fans met online while both were pondering the idea of creating a web site dedicated to the Solid Gold dancers. At the time, Jeff was working as a web developer in San Francisco's "multimedia gulch." Jenn was working as a journalist for a local newspaper in Michigan. A web designer and a writer seemed to be a perfect match! So they agreed to form a partnership to create a comprehensive web site about the Solid Gold dancers.

Both had been fans of the show for long time. As a pre-teen, Jeff watched the very first Solid Gold episode in 1979 and became a weekly watcher when the show became a series in 1980. As a young girl studying dance, Jenn idolized the Solid Gold dancers and wanted to be one when she grew up!

After communicating with each other via e-mail for several months, Jeff and Jenn created the Unofficial Solid Gold Dance Connection and launched the site in the Fall of 1998.

Now, five years later, the site is still going strong! But unfortunately, due to personal commitments, Jeff is no longer able to work on the SGDC, and today the site is run by Jenn only.
